

BETHANY – Top-ranked Bethany fell in three sets to nemesis, third-ranked and defending 4A state champion Community Christian, Tuesday (Sept. 24).
The Lady Bronchos lost 25-16, 25-13, 25-16. The win snapped Bethany’s nine-game winning streak as well as its 21-set winning streak.
“It wasn’t our best,” Bethany coach Kerri Cagle said via text. “But, these are times we can learn from and get better. Keeping our heads up.”
Cagle noted that there were some players that were ill.

Bethany (24-2), top-ranked in 4A, travels 4A No. 10 Tuttle (14-6) next Monday (Sept. 30). The match begins at 6 p.m.
