OKLAHOMA CITY – Bethany rolled past neighbor Putnam City West in three sets Monday (Sept. 23).

The Lady Bronchos won 25-16, 25-17, 25-14. The win gave Bethany (24-1) its ninth straight victory and ran its winning set streak to 21.

Bethany, top-ranked in 4A, hosts 4A’s second-ranked team, Community Christian (22-4) Tuesday (Sept. 24) at 6 p.m.

“We are so excited about playing CCS,” Bethany coach Kerri Cagle said via text.

Last season, the Lady Royals beat the Lady Bronchos in four sets in the state finals as Community Christian won its third championship in four seasons and its first in 4A.

Putnam City West (3-11) hosts Lawton Eisenhower (9-6) Tuesday (Sept. 24) at 6 p.m.
