OKLAHOMA CITY – Putnam City West split a doubleheader with Crooked Oak Tuesday (Aug. 27).
CROOKED OAK 10, PUTNAM CITY WEST 4
Crooked Oak scored seven runs in the second inning en route to the win.
Katherine Salazar had the Lady Patriots’ lone hit. West took advantage of four hit batters and five walks while striking out nine times.
PUTNAM CITY WEST 8, CROOKED OAK 4
West had a six-run third inning in the three-inning win.
The Lady Patriots walked 10 times. Taniya Johnson and Rosaura Rojas-Delgado each had a hit in the win.
Kaydence Lopez got the win, not allowing a hit, but walking six batters. Lopez also struck out six batters.

West will play in the Santa Fe South Tournament starting Thursday (Aug. 29).
