OKLAHOMA CITY – Putnam City North stayed close with Broken Arrow until a seven-run sixth inning led to a 12-1 loss Tuesday (Aug. 27) in a 6A District 2 contest.
North got its lone run in the fourth inning on an RBI-single from senior Kylee Smith. The hit scored sophomore Savannah Martinez who led off the inning with a walk.
Senior Raya Shawareb went 2-for-3. Junior Mikala Coats, senior Aubrey Miller, junior Jayda Stevenson and Smith each had a hit in the loss.
