VERDIGRIS – Bethany’s volleyball squad improved to 5-0 after four wins Friday (Aug. 16) in the Route 66 Nut House Bash Tournament.

The Lady Bronchos beat host Verdigris, 2-0 (25-14, 25 – 18), Oklahoma Union, 2-0 (25-13, 25-11), Catoosa, 2-0 (25-11, 25-17)and Oklahoma Bible, 2-0 (25-15, 25-17).

“Team is playing well and having a lot of fun together,” Bethany coach Kerri Cagle said via text.

Senior outside hitter Jaidyn Reid had 17 kills and eight service aces. Junior outside hitter Skylar Brady added 34 kills and four aces.

UP NEXT: Bethany plays three times Saturday as the tournament continues. The Lady Bronchos meet Tecumseh, Inola and Cache.
