WARR ACRES – Putnam City Schools recently announced the 2024 class for the district’s Athletics Hall of Fame.

Putnam City honorees included Mark Anderson (Diving), Kenneth Cooper (Basketball/Cross Country/Track and Field), Marita Hynes (Coach) and Lou Kretlow (Baseball) and the 1977 Putnam City football team. See more about the Pirates honored here.

Putnam City West honorees included Gladys Griffin (Softball), Carrie (Heightley) Schimmels (Basketball/Softball), Ben Rutz (Baseball/Football) and Tim Sydnes (Basketball/Football/Soccer). See more about the Patriots honored here.

Putnam City North honorees included Todd Fereday (Baseball/Football), Chris Haworth (Tennis), Aaron Ivey (Baseball/Football) and Lance Parker (Soccer). See more about the Panthers honored here.
