CUSHING – Bethany’s boys golf team qualified for the Class 4A State Tournament as a team and junior Jackie Payne led the way in regional action Wednesday (May 1) at Buffalo Rock Golf Course.

Payne shot a 70 to win an individual regional championship, the first in school history. Payne’s score was the lowest in all four regionals.

The Bronchos will compete in the Class 4A State Tournament at Shangri-La Golf Club, Resort & Marina Champions Course in Afton on May 6 and 7.
