WARR ACRES – Putnam City is in the Class 6A boys state Soccer tournament for the first time since 2019.
The Pirates travel to top-seed Mustang (13-2) Monday (April 29) at 7:30 p.m. for their first-round matchup.
Putnam City finished the regular season at 6-8. The squad finished 4-3 in District 2, good for fourth place.
The Pirates earned wins over Muskogee, Northwest Classen, Lawton Eisenhower, Piedmont, U.S. Grant and Moore.
The 1-0 win over Moore on April 18 was enough to give them a spot in the playoffs.
