NORMAN – Scoring 10 runs in the second inning and seven more in the third inning, Norman routed Putnam City North, 23-0, Friday (March 29).

The Panthers (3-12, 1-5 in Class 6A District 2) were held to two hits in the contest.

Junior Atticus Duffy-Relf and sophomore Mitchell Taylor each got a hit for Putnam City North.

The Panther pitching staff gave up 12 hits and issued 16 walks in the loss.

UP NEXT: Putnam City North travels to Choctaw Monday (April 1) to start a two-game district series with the Yellowjackets (11-1, 6-0). The Panthers will return the favor, hosting on Tuesday. Each game starts at 5 p.m.
