WARR ACRES – The OKC Broncos scored six runs in the first inning en route to a 10-2 rout of Putnam City Thursday (March 28) on the opening day of the Bryson Cael Memorial Tournament.

Senior Hunter Andrews went 1-for-3, driving in the Pirates’ only two runs with a double to left field in the fifth inning. Junior Connor Fast went 3-for-3, scoring one of those runs.

Senior Joshua Potter took the loss on the mound, giving up seven hits and eight earned runs. Potter went 1-for-3 at the plate.

UP NEXT: The Pirates (2-8, 2-4) finish up the tournament by hosting Class 5A Del City at 12 p.m. Friday (March 29). Putnam City will play Class 4A Bethany at 4:30 p.m.
