ENID – Putnam City opened up a comfortable halftime lead with a dominant third quarter to beat Enid, 57-43, Tuesday (Feb. 13) in the regular season finale for both teams in Class 6A District 3.
The Lady Pirates (9-13, 5-7) had a 10-point lead at halftime but stretched it out in the third quarter, outscoring the Pacers 14-7.
Sophomore Chariyah Williams scored 15 points. Junior Kayla Hill added 11 points and fellow junior Destinee Hunt finished with seven points. Freshman Ileeya Combs scored seven points as well.
UP NEXT: The Lady Pirates travel to Edmond Memorial to open up the regional playoffs against Jenks Tuesday (Feb. 20). Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
