BETHANY – The Lady Bronchos broke the 90-point-mark for the second time in their last four games with a 93-47 rout of Ardmore at homecoming Friday (Feb. 9).
On Jan. 30, Bethany (18-4) neared the 100-point mark with a 97-33 win over Cache.
On this night, it was a familiar recipe. The Lady Bronchos sprinted out to an early lead behind junior Keziah Lofton and senior Zya Vann. Two other players, juniors Talia Vann and Kayten Donley, also scored in double-figures.
Lofton shot 52 percent from the field, tallying 27 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Zya Vann, fresh off officially signing with Oklahoma on Wednesday, added 24 points, hitting 4-of-7 from the 3-point line and collecting five steals.
Junior Talia Vann added 14 points on 50 percent shooting with six rebounds and three steals. Donley added a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and four steals.
Ardmore junior Milana Vance-Marshall paced the Lady Tigers (8-14) with 19 points.
Over its last ten games, Bethany is averaging 78.5 points a contest.
UP NEXT: The Lady Bronchos finish the regular season with a home game against Class 3A Oklahoma Christian School Tuesday (Feb. 13). Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m.
