WARR ACRES – Sand Springs broke open a 3-point game in the third quarter en route to a 51-34 win over Putnam City Friday (Feb. 2) in a Class 6A District 3 contest.

Putnam City (8-12) overcame a slow first quarter, milked the clock in the second before back-to-back long treys from junior JaColby Williams pulled the Pirates within three (18-15) with 3:29 left.
