TULSA – Bethany advanced to the finals of the Lincoln Christian Winter Classic with a 67-65 win over Stilwell in five overtimes Friday (Jan. 5)

The Class 4A fourth-ranked Bronchos (9-0) got the defensive stop they needed, forcing a loose ball as time expired for the win.

Junior Aiden Todd led Bethany with 25 points. Fellow junior Wyatt Geissler added 10 points. Another junior, Garrett Johnson scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds. Junior Jackie Payne also scored eight points and snagged 10 rebounds.

LINDSAY – The host Leopardettes routed Western Heights in the first round of the Charles K. Heatley Classic.
Jet freshman Jasmini Jessie led Western Heights with six points before fouling out late in the game.
