TULSA – Bethany beat Sapulpa, 54-51, to capture the Lincoln Christian Winter Classic Saturday (Jan. 6) in Tulsa.

The win improved the Bronchos (fourth-ranked in Class 4A) to 10-0 and gave them their second tournament title of the season. Bethany won the Christian Heritage tournament on Dec. 9.

Junior Aiden Todd powered the Bronchos with 29 points, hitting four 3-pointers. Todd was named the tournament’s “Most Valuable Player.”

Fellow junior Garrett Johnson added 12 points on four treys. Johnson was named to the All-Tournament team.

Bethany coach Brett Cannon wrote on X (formerly Twitter),”Proud of our guys!!! Resilient bunch. Found a way!”

UP NEXT: The Bronchos return to Western Conference action Tuesday (Jan. 9) against rival and Class 4A No. 14 Tuttle at home.
