Brackets set for Putnam City Invitational

UPDATED: Girls and boys bracket procedures, full boys schedule. (01.03.24)

WARR ACRES – The brackets have been set for the Putnam City Invitational that runs from Jan. 4-6 at Putnam City High School.

The girls will play a round-robin format, while the boys will use bracket play. Each teams is guaranteed three games.

The girls bracket features all three Putnam City schools, 6A schools Norman North, Sand Springs and 4A’s Douglass.

The boys bracket features all three Putnam City schools, Class 6A’s Northwest Classen, Norman North, Tulsa Union, Lawton and Class 5A’s Midwest City.

Boys Bracket and Champion

Tournament placing will be determined by bracket play outcomes.
For all games tied at the end of regulation, there will be a 4 min overtime.
The overtime period will be played to completion, this will be repeated until there is a winner.

TOURNAMENT RULES

All teams will be guaranteed 3 (three games. Teams will play no more than 1 (one) game each calendar day of the tournament.

The team listed on the top line of the bracket will wear light colored uniform and be notated as “home” on the scoreboard.

The team listed on the bottom line of the bracket will wear dark colored uniform and be notated as “away” on the scoreboard.

Games will be conducted by the established NFHS and OSSAA rules of gameplay.

Locker rooms will be provided for teams 30 min prior to tip-off and will need to be vacated 30 after the completion of your game.

All personal items left in locker rooms are the responsibility of individuals. PCHS and its affiliates are not responsible for items left unattended in locker rooms.
