Three West Metro girls basketball teams are in tournament championship games today (Dec. 9).

Bethany will meet Fort Smith Northside (Ark.) in the finals of the Tournament of Champions-Fort Smith. Putnam City will take on El Reno in the finals of the Panther Classic at Harrah. Finally, Putnam City North will face Norman in the finals of the Joe Lawson Invitational Tournament hosted by Norman and Norman North.

FORT SMITH, Ark. – The Lady Bronchos handed the Lady Pointers their first loss of the season behind 25 points from point guard Zya Vann and 23 points from Keziah Lofton.

FRIDAY, Dec. 8/Bethany 83, Idabel 64

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Bethany advanced to the finals by shooting 54.5 percent from the field in the second half against Idabel.

Zya Vann led the team with 23 points. Keziah Lofton added 21 points and eight rebounds. Kayten Donley contributed 14 points.
